Our new album, Fill the Shelters, is now available for download in the “music store” section. It’s free with the option to donate (you can donate as little as a penny!). If you’d like to pre-order a tangible CD complete with artwork, go to the “merch store” section.

On a side note, for those who are interested in our first album, “Model Cities” will soon be available for download, as well (pssst, plus two bonus tracks!). We’ll let you know once it’s up!

We’re happy (and relieved) to announce that the album is done. We’re hard at work to make it available for our fans as soon as possible. It will be available on this site later today for free download with the option to donate (you can donate as little as a penny!). We’ll post again soon. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the beautiful cover photo taken by English photojournalist, Jez Coulson (www.Jezblog.com). He was kind enough to grant us permission to use it!

June is here! The final mastering of “Fill the Shelters” is in process right now. We’ll keep you updated on when the big release date will be. The album will be available for download on various music sites (such as iTunes and eMusic). CDs with artwork will also be available.

We’re hard at work finishing up the second album. 17 great new tracks! June should be the month! Can you see how excited we are?

Steve came up from Baltimore and we had very productive weekend. Steve, Tony and Neil recorded some more tracks for the second album. Looks like it’s going to be 18 songs in length and should, hopefully, be out in the next couple of months. Stay tuned!

We’ve got another show coming up September 12th at Boulder Coffee Co. at Brooks Landing, located at 955 Genessee St. Rochester, NY 14611. Come check us out! We’ll be playing lots of new material from our upcoming album “Fill the Shelters” as well as some tried and true favorites.

Speaking of which, Freeminer Birds are hard at work in the studio. With 17 songs under our belts, we are shooting for our second album “Fill the Shelters” to be out sometime this winter.

We’ll probably go on around 9:30-10 pm. This may be our last show for a while so don’t miss it!

Hello everyone!
Hope 2009 is turning out to be a great year for you so far. Freeminer Birds is still hard at work on our second album, which we’ve decided to call “Fill the Shelters.” We’ve also got two new shows coming up. We’re happy to be playing once again at Boulder Coffee Co. on Jan. 24th. We’ve also got a show lined up at the Bug Jar on March 1st. More details for both shows are to be announced!
